Crossing Realities

In today’s contemporary context, art thrives on its ability to absorb and confront diverse traditions, hybrid languages, and multiple perspectives. Crossing Realities situates itself precisely at this intersection, where seemingly disparate styles find resonance through a shared axis: the human experience.

The exhibition brings together five figurative artists whose practices converge in their exploration of what it means to inhabit the space between the real and the imagined. Steve Moors examines the fragile balance between audacity and vulnerability; Pedro Hernández reclaims classical tradition to revisit universal archetypes; Kadja Klarreich-Giglio navigates dreamlike states through intuitive narratives; Rosemary Marchetta unveils the invisible geometries that precede matter; and Chris FoxGilson rewrites the canon through speculation and critical humor.

Contemporaneity allows us, perhaps more than ever before, to articulate these diverse perspectives without forcing homogeneity, embracing plurality as a form of richness. Rather than fragmentation, Crossing Realities reveals a unifying thread running through the exhibition: the need to understand the human being in all its complexity, its fragility, and its power to imagine futures.

In this sense, the exhibition is not only a journey through diverse styles and techniques, but also a visual essay on what it means to be contemporary: to coexist with difference and to celebrate the many ways in which art illuminates our condition.
