We’re excited to share that the First International Cat Salon at Gato Gordo Gallery was featured once again—this time in the Arts section of In the Know Miami. (You’ll need to scroll down to find it!)
The piece highlighted how the exhibition pays tribute to beloved felines through the eyes of contemporary artists, with works spanning illustration, printmaking, photography, digital art, charcoal and pastel drawings, painting, and ceramic sculpture. Some artists immortalized their own pets, while others portrayed cats as symbols of elegance, beauty, curiosity, and companionship.
The feature also noted our partnership with SoBe Cats Spay & Neuter through the Cinco de Meowo fundraiser, where guests enjoyed art, “Meowgaritas,” and adoptable kittens—all while supporting Miami Beach’s stray cat population.
We’re grateful to be recognized once again in Miami’s cultural press, and thrilled that the International Cat Salon continues to inspire curiosity, conversation, and community.
